Executive Summary

Supercollider Immersive INC. is a newly-formed creative production company that will dedicate its first two years of operation to its debut escape room game, “The Hudson River Damned.” In a world where the iconic Hudson River has been dammed to harness hydropower for the region, in the midst of a category 5 hurricane, audience members stumble into a riverside power plant on the brink of chaos and must work together to prevent a disastrous flood from wiping out the valley. With “Damned,” Catalyst aims to fully reinvent the escape room model, bringing theatricality, spectacle, and storytelling center-stage and leaving audiences wanting more.
There is a clear opening in the Hudson Valley regional entertainment market for compelling immersive experiences that bring people together. Nowhere is this opening more obvious and worthy for development than Newburgh, NY. With “Damned,” owner Jesse Farrenkopf builds on over a decade of creative fabrication, event production, and live immersion experience to expand consumers’ understanding of storytelling, the escape room industry, collective problem-solving, and fun.
The purpose of this business plan is to secure a $225,000, 20 year fixed business loan for the technical production, construction, and initial promotion of “Damned.” Financing will be used to convert 800 sq. ft. within an industrial building owned by Farrenkopf into the world’s first-ever flooding escape room experience, located at 26 Liberty Street, Newburgh, NY 12550. “Damned” is projected to recoup build-out costs as well as 1 year of operating expenses within year 2 generating profit of XXXX, grow from 20 shows to 38 shows per week by year two, and bring in xxxxx sales figure in the first 24 months of operation.
The future of Supercollider Immersive is bright, resources and real estate a plenty, efforts to open more rooms within year 2 could potentially double the already impressive revenue.
